A law firm in Worchester is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience, admitted to practice in Massachusetts. The successful candidate will gain valuable courtroom and deposition experience, handling a varied caseload including construction losses, product liability, fire losses, premises liability, and liquor liability actions. Strong academic credentials are required, and admission to multiple states or a desire to gain admission in additional states is preferred. Duties:

  • Independently manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and depositions.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts throughout the litigation process.
  • Participate in case evaluations and provide legal analysis on potential claims or disputes.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in Massachusetts, in good standing.
  • 3-5 years of experience in litigation, preferably with exposure to construction losses, product liability, fire losses, premises liability, and liquor liability actions.
  • Strong academic credentials, including high grades in law school.
  • Admission to multiple states or a willingness to obtain admission in additional states is preferred.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications (if applicable):

Admission to practice law in Massachusetts.
