Job Overview:

  • Work on diverse litigation cases, including class actions, within technology, finance, life sciences, and energy sectors.
  • Assume early and significant responsibility in managing complex disputes and litigation.
  • Directly interact with clients, manage discovery processes, conduct depositions, handle court appearances and oral arguments, and manage mediations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all complex disputes and litigation aspects, including client interactions and discovery processes.
  • Conducted depositions and represented clients in court appearances and key hearings.
  • Collaborate with firms' industry-leading eDiscovery, Analytics, and Litigation Support teams.
  • Handle mediation and negotiations effectively.
  • Participate actively in case strategy development and implementation.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Membership to IL State Bar.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent legal research abilities.
  • Superb writing and oral communication skills.
  • Passionate, self-motivated, and proactive critical thinker.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance independence with teamwork.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership to the Illinois State Bar.
