Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Cincinnati is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance to join their Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) Lending and Servicing Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in CMBS and balance sheet financing, asset management, and servicing of CMBS/balance sheet loans.
Duties:
- Handle commercial real estate finance transactions, focusing on CMBS lending and servicing.
- Manage balance sheet financing matters related to commercial real estate.
- Oversee asset management and servicing of CMBS and balance sheet loans.
- Provide legal guidance and representation in connection with loan origination, servicing, and other aspects of commercial real estate finance.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Conduct thorough research, draft legal documents, and offer strategic legal advice.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, specifically in CMBS and balance sheet financing.
- Proven experience in asset management and servicing of CMBS/balance sheet loans.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate finance law and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active Bar membership in at least one . jurisdiction.
Certifications:
- Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar.
