Summary: - Position: Insurance & Reinsurance Associate - Location: Flexible (Detroit, Los Angeles, or Philadelphia) - Business Unit: Litigation - Experience: 3+ years - Remote work possible, but must be licensed in state of residence - Represent international and domestic insurers and reinsurers on pre-underwriting risk assessments, claim management, and coverage opinions - Experience in insurance coverage, medical malpractice, or mass torts preferred - Required skills: ability to present complex issues in written work, trial preparation and courtroom experience, e-discovery software experience, strong advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills, strong academic credentials, detail-oriented and organized, strong interpersonal and communication skills - Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 annually - Actual compensation dependent on qualifications, experience, and market data - Annual discretionary bonus eligible - Benefits: health insurance, optional HSA/FSA, short term and long term disability, dental and vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation and sick time, parking/public transportation allowance, employee assistance program - Law firm: Clark Hill PLC - 27 offices in US, Ireland, and Mexico - 700+ attorneys - Value proposition: exceptional team, dedicated to outstanding service - Agile, collaborative teams with clients - Growth strategy through hiring of associates, counsel, and members who fit culture and strategic plan - Desired qualities: solid academic credentials, strong interpersonal and communication skills - Collaborative and rewarding work environment
