A law firm in Moorestown, NJ, is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with a strong background in Education law, as well as experience in Litigation and Employment law. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience, demonstrate a commitment to client advocacy, and contribute to a collaborative legal team.

Duties:

• Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and client needs.
• Provide counsel and guidance to clients on education law matters, including compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other staff to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines.
• Engage in negotiation on behalf of clients to reach favorable outcomes.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and changes in Education law, Litigation, and Employment law.
• Participate in business development activities to enhance the firm’s profile and attract new clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar.
• 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, particularly in Education law and Litigation.
• Proven track record of successful case management and litigation outcomes.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania State Bar Associations.
