A law firm seeks a highly skilled midlevel Real Estate Associate Attorney for their Seattle office. This position is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented attorney with 3-5 years of experience in transactional real estate law. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, construction, development, and financing. You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team that handles complex and impactful real estate cases on both a local and national level.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing across various property types and industry sectors.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other real estate-related documents.
  • Assist clients with land use and zoning issues, as well as development and construction projects.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on complex real estate matters, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct due diligence and legal research to support real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to strategize and execute legal plans.
  • Manage a caseload of real estate matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to facilitate transactions and resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in transactional real estate law.
  • Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Strong drafting, research, and legal writing skills.
  • Experience working with a wide variety of real estate transactions and property types.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding client service.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar admission in the state of Washington.
