Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm based in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join their team. The position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in diverse litigation matters, with a focus on general and professional liability. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of litigation, from initiation to resolution, while working closely with clients to provide strategic legal advice.

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation, handling cases from initiation through expert discovery.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management conferences.
• Conduct thorough legal research and discovery investigations.
• Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda.
• Prepare case evaluation summaries, court orders, settlement agreements, and litigation reports.
• Review and summarize discovery responses and depositions.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
• Maintain close communication with clients, providing legal analysis, status updates, and counsel throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

• Active Bar membership in New Jersey.
• Preferred experience in New Jersey litigation.
• Proficiency in drafting discovery, leading depositions, and arguing motions.
• Strong writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey.

Certifications:

• New Jersey Bar Admission.

• Expertise in legal research and analysis.
• Negotiation and mediation skills.
