A law firm based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Defect Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law and possess the ability to manage a variety of legal tasks related to construction defect cases. This role involves interacting with clients, preparing legal documents, and representing the firm in various legal proceedings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interact with clients to gather information, provide legal advice, and address concerns.
• Prepare detailed legal reports and documentation related to construction defect cases.
• Handle discovery processes, including the collection and examination of evidence.
• Attend court hearings and represent clients effectively in legal proceedings.
• Take depositions and conduct interviews to gather testimony and evidence.
• Perform comprehensive legal research and writing to support case strategies.
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of cases for trial, including developing case strategies and arguments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction law or a related field.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Texas State Bar license required.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction defect laws and regulations.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in handling complex legal documents and discovery.
