Duties:

  • Defend clients in personal injury and property damage litigation cases.
  • Handle construction defect claims, if applicable.
  • Conduct depositions of liability and damages experts, parties, and fact witnesses.
  • Attend Court hearings and mediations and assist with trial preparation.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting guidelines and maintain contemporaneous billing records.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar in good standing.
  • 7-10 years of law experience, focusing on personal injury and property damage claims.
  • Proven experience in defending and taking depositions.
  • Familiarity with Court procedures and litigation processes.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with construction defect claims is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines effectively.

Certifications:
