A law firm is seeking a Corporate Services Senior Associate Attorney for its Louisville office. The Corporate Services Senior Associate Attorney should have extensive experience in securities reporting and M&A transactions within a large regional or national law firm. They will handle routine securities filings, merger & acquisition transactions, and other business transactions. Preferred candidates will also have experience with bank regulatory matters. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to communicate advice clearly to clients and colleagues. Strong analytical skills are essential for offering unique perspectives on complex issues. The candidate must possess excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills, as well as exceptional academic credentials. They must be licensed to practice law in the State of Kentucky.

 

Duties:

  • Handle securities reporting and M&A transactions.
  • Manage routine securities filings.
  • Oversee merger & acquisition transactions and other business transactions.
  • Provide legal support on bank regulatory matters.
  • Communicate advice clearly to clients and colleagues.
  • Offer unique perspectives on complex legal issues.
  • Draft legal documents and reports.

 

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of corporate experience.
  • Extensive experience in securities reporting, M&A, and bank regulatory work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional academic credentials.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Kentucky.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in the State of Kentucky.
