Duties:

• Manage a caseload with oversight from partners
• Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
• Conduct legal research and write memorandums
• Attend hearings and court conferences
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Participate in inspections and case-related activities
• Consult with expert witnesses
• Attend mediations
• Assist with trial preparation and trials

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in auto liability or premises liability defense
• Experience in auto negligence and no-fault defense is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• New York Bar License (Required)

Skills:

• Proficient in drafting legal documents (motions, pleadings, discovery responses)
• Legal research and writing proficiency
• Knowledge of auto and premises liability defense
• Experience conducting and defending depositions
• Strong organizational and time management skills
