Duties

  • Provide legal counsel on M&A transactions involving insurance and reinsurance.
  • Advise on regulatory compliance related to insurance matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate life and annuity agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients on transactional strategies.
  • Handle diverse legal tasks associated with high-stakes, complex insurance matters.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in insurance M&A, reinsurance, regulatory issues, and life and annuity agreements.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent team collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure, fast-paced work environments.
  • Prior experience with a peer law firm is preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited . law school.

Certifications

  • Active New York State Bar admission or eligibility for bar admission through waiver.
