A law firm in St. Louis is seeking a Corporate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have interest or experience in business law, complex commercial transactions, M&A, real estate, banking/finance, and/or other corporate matters. Duties:
- Provide legal counsel and representation on corporate matters, including business law, complex commercial transactions, M&A, real estate, and banking/finance
- Draft and review corporate agreements, contracts, and transactional documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis on corporate laws and regulations
- Assist with due diligence for corporate transactions
- Participate in negotiations and closings for corporate deals
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
- Manage multiple projects independently and provide practical client counseling
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy development and implementation
- Assist with corporate governance matters, including board meetings and resolutions
- Stay updated on developments in corporate laws and regulations
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate law
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Interest or experience in business law, complex commercial transactions, M&A, real estate, banking/finance, or other corporate matters
Education:
Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to practice law in the state of Missouri
