This role involves providing review services for dispute and corporate due diligence matters under the direction of Norton Rose Fulbright lawyers. The Staff Counsel will also serve as a Team Lead, coordinating communications between lawyers and contract review teams. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree, be licensed and in good standing to practice in their state of employment, and have a minimum of 3 years of document review experience. The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with qualifications. Responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing, and coding documents, participating in initial review trainings and team meetings, conducting quality control reviews, and coordinating and monitoring the work of first level reviewers. The Staff Counsel will also be responsible for identifying and escalating questions and issues to Norton Rose Fulbright lawyers, preparing privilege logs, and performing review and analysis of contracts and agreements. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a strong grasp and knowledge of document review platforms, and a proven dedication to work product quality. They must also have the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, have a thorough understanding of attorney-client and work product privilege, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
