Job Overview:

A law firm in New York City is seeking a skilled Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of robust commercial litigation experience. The ideal candidate will be ready to assume significant responsibility in managing their cases and will take on a front-facing role with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts. Judicial Clerkship experience is preferred.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and strategic case planning.
• Provide expert legal advice and maintain client relationships.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of strong commercial litigation experience.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing Bar membership in New York.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Bar membership in New York, active and in good standing.
