Job Overview: A dynamic law firm in Nevada is seeking a motivated Associate Litigation Attorney to handle complex personal injury and wrongful death cases. The successful candidate will handle matters involving motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, traumatic injuries, and disputed liability.

Duties:

  • Manage complex personal injury and wrongful death litigation cases.
  • Conduct all aspects of discovery, including expert witness utilization.
  • Engage in motion practice and trial preparation to build strong cases.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff in a team environment.
  • Handle cases involving catastrophic injuries, disability claims, and disputed liability.
  • Prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Advocate for clients during negotiations, depositions, and trials.

Requirements:

  • Active member of the Nevada State Bar in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with a focus on client outcomes.
  • Experience in managing cases from inception through trial with a discovery-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to balance multiple tasks and deadlines in a complex litigation environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Nevada.
