A law firm seeks a dedicated Attorney to join its team in Toms River, NJ. The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel, conduct research, draft legal documents, and work closely with administrative staff, colleagues, and senior partners to deliver exceptional legal services to clients. This role is suited for a self-motivated individual with a passion for the law and a commitment to client service.

Duties:

• Prepare contracts, briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Attend and prepare for legal proceedings, including court hearings and client meetings.
• Provide legal advice in collaboration with senior attorneys.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records.
• Supervise paralegals and administrative assistants to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the state bar association (New Jersey preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and provide top-notch client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active bar license in the state of New Jersey (required).
• Membership in the American Bar Association (preferred).

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
