This role requires in-depth, broad-based experience in estate planning and estate administration, with preferred experience in litigation. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal services in estate planning and estate administration, including the preparation of wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
  • Assist clients with the probate process, including managing estate assets, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Represent clients in estate-related litigation, including contested wills and trust disputes.
  • Advise clients on tax implications related to estate planning and administration, ensuring optimal tax strategies are employed.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their estate planning needs and develop tailored legal solutions.
  • Draft and review complex estate planning documents and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple estate matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution of legal issues.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and addressing their questions or concerns.
  • Work closely with other attorneys and support staff, contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • An LLM in Tax is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estate planning and estate administration.
  • Experience in estate-related litigation is preferred.
  • Outstanding academic and professional credentials.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle complex legal matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
