Law Firm Seeks Senior Associate/Special Counsel for Cyber/Data/Privacy Practice Group

Position Overview

Law firm is looking for a senior associate or special counsel to join their Cyber/Data/Privacy (c/d/p) practice group in their New York, San Francisco, Chicago, or Washington, DC offices. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience focusing on regulatory investigations or litigation involving consumer protection issues (State AG, FTC, and other regulatory agencies), and/or be well-versed in defending data privacy and security class actions (., Stored Communications Act, wiretapping claims, claims involving allegedly unfair and deceptive trade practices, and data breach class actions).

  • At least seven years of experience focusing on regulatory investigations or litigation involving consumer protection issues (State AG, FTC, and other regulatory agencies).
  • Well-versed in defending data privacy and security class actions (., Stored Communications Act, wiretapping claims, claims involving allegedly unfair and deceptive trade practices, and data breach class actions).
  • High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
  • Ability to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects.
  • General tech fluency.
  • Impeccable analytical and writing skills.

Compensation

The expected annual pay range for this position is $400,000 - $415,000+. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
