A law firm in Manassas, VA is seeking a dedicated and motivated Immigration Attorney to join their dynamic team. This position requires an attorney who is fluent in Spanish, with a strong desire to specialize in immigration law. The ideal candidate will manage multiple cases, supervise staff, and provide top-notch legal services to clients. Key Duties:
- Meet with potential new clients to discuss their cases and provide legal guidance.
- Coordinate case and legal strategy to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Manage multiple cases, paralegals, projects, and deadlines efficiently.
- Train and supervise staff, ensuring high standards of legal practice.
- Prepare and revise court documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case arguments.
- Stay informed about legislative changes and judicial case law relevant to immigration.
- Market the law firm's services to attract new clients.
- Work one Saturday a month, with potential bonuses for new clients signed on these days.
- Cross-sell various other practices within the law firm to existing and new clients.
- Handle court hearings and trials with professionalism and expertise.
- Become an expert in Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJIS, U-Visas, Waivers, etc.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school (required).
- Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or Puerto Rico (required).
- Fluency in Spanish (required).
- At least 1 year of immigration experience preferred; motivated attorneys with experience in other legal areas are encouraged to apply.
