We Want You on Our Team! - Verrill, a top full-service law firm in New England, is seeking a Family Law Paralegal for our Boston office - Full-time, non-exempt position supporting attorneys in our Family Law Practice Group - Duties include drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing Rule 410 Compliance, and providing exceptional client service - Minimum of eight (8) years of family law experience preferred, Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate a plus - Competitive salary and benefits package offered, including retirement savings plan with employer match - Flexible hybrid work environment and professional development opportunities available - Equal Opportunity Employer, all applicants welcome regardless of race, religion, gender, etc. Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and analyze legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses - Coordinate and manage Rule 410 Compliance - Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials, hearings, and meetings - Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information - Interface professionally with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals - Possess exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills - Demonstrate financial acumen and advanced computer skills - Have a comprehensive knowledge of Probate and Family Court processes and procedures - Proven project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks successfully - Enjoy working as part of a team in a collaborative environment Qualifications: - Minimum of eight (8) years of family law experience preferred - Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate a plus - Highly motivated self-starter with strong communication skills - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills - Financial acumen and advanced computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TurboLaw) - Comprehensive knowledge of Probate and Family Court processes and procedures - Proven project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks successfully - Enjoy working as part of a team in a collaborative environment Salary and Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications - Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance - Retirement savings plan with employer match - Paid time off and holidays - Flexible hybrid work environment - Professional development and training opportunities Application Process: - Interested candidates should submit their resume for review - Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received - Position will remain open until filled - Need help applying?
