This position requires a motivated individual with 2-3 years of experience in acquisitions for private equity funds. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong academic record, possess excellent writing and oral communication skills, and be able to work independently with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on private equity transactions, including acquisitions, mergers, and investment structuring.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, equity agreements, and financing documents.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and provide a comprehensive analysis of potential investments and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to develop and implement transaction strategies.
• Stay current with relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Prepare and present legal opinions and recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of transaction processes, ensuring timely and efficient completion.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in acquisitions for private equity funds.
• Strong academic record from an accredited law school.
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Demonstrated experience in handling private equity transactions and related legal matters.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
