Duties:

  • Manage individual caseload with partner oversight.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memorandums.
  • Attend hearings, court conferences, and mediations.
  • Conduct and defend depositions and attend inspections.
  • Consult with expert witnesses and manage expert consultations.
  • Assist in trial preparation and participate in trials.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in litigation or professional liability.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active New York Bar License required.
  • Connecticut Bar admission is a plus but not required.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and case management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
