The ideal candidate will have superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, adversaries, and decision-makers. They should be capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks and deadlines, possessing excellent academic credentials and Connecticut Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as needed.
  • Manage a caseload independently under the supervision of senior attorneys.
  • Assist in case evaluation, strategy development, and settlement negotiations.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Connecticut Bar or eligibility to obtain prompt admission.
  • 1-5 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to personal injury law.
