Duties:

• Represent clients in state and federal courts, focusing on litigation in the financial services sector.
• Engage in all aspects of litigation, including drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Conduct legal research and develop strategies for complex litigation cases.
• Handle contested foreclosure work and other financial litigation matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel to resolve disputes.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and risk assessment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in commercial or civil litigation.
• Strong background in legal research, writing, and analysis.
• Experience in financial services litigation or contested foreclosure work preferred.
• Admission to the Texas Bar is mandatory.
• Admission to the New York or New Jersey Bar is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Texas Bar.
• New York or New Jersey Bar membership is a bonus.
