A law firm in Denver, CO, seeks an experienced Corporate Partner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate law and will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, overseeing corporate transactions, and providing strategic legal counsel.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on corporate legal matters.
- Lead and manage corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Draft and negotiate complex corporate agreements, including shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff within the corporate practice group.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing corporate law, preferably within a reputable law firm.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Colorado State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
- A proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of corporate clients and transactions.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand the commercial objectives of clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities and experience in mentoring junior attorneys.
Education:
