Duties:

  • Provide legal support in real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing purchase agreements and leases.
  • Assist in public contracting matters, including drafting and interpreting contracts and compliance issues.
  • Support construction procurement processes and address related disputes.
  • Negotiate and draft a wide range of contracts and agreements.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client matters.
  • Prepare detailed legal memoranda, opinions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings, as necessary, and collaborate with other attorneys on complex cases.
  • Stay current with legal developments relevant to transactional and public entity law.

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of relevant practice experience in transactional and public entity law.
  • Must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal matters and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of California.

Skills:
