A prominent law firm in Stamford is seeking a driven Commercial Attorney to become an integral part of their accomplished team. This is a unique opportunity for a legal professional with a diverse range of skills and expertise in commercial transactions. The ideal candidate will possess a level of portable business and demonstrate strong academic credentials, holding a . degree from an ABA-approved law school and an active membership in good standing with the Connecticut and/or New York Bars.

As a Commercial Attorney, you will be at the forefront of advising clients on a broad spectrum of commercial and corporate investment projects. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of commercial transactions, including licensing agreements, joint ventures, purchase and sale transactions, business combinations, and divestitures. You will also excel in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, separation agreements, entity formation, and evaluating and undertaking different types of investments, including private equity, hedge funds, angel and venture capital investing, and direct company investments. If you have experience with sports and entertainment transactions, including film, music, and endorsement transactions, it's an added advantage.

To excel in this role, candidates should have a minimum of 6+ years of professional experience advising affluent families, family offices, closely held businesses, or other business enterprises.
