Job Duties:

  • Evaluate the merits of personal injury cases, including conducting initial client interviews and case assessments.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to clients throughout the legal process, ensuring effective communication and managing client expectations.
  • Handle medical reviews, negotiations, and settlements of personal injury cases as necessary.
  • Manage a large caseload efficiently, prioritizing tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Open new case files, develop litigation strategies and conduct discovery processes.
  • Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court trials when necessary.
  • Build and manage a legal team, demonstrating effective leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Interact professionally and compassionately with clients during stressful periods, offering support and maintaining client confidence.
  • Strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients, demonstrating a commitment to winning cases through diligent preparation and advocacy.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Georgia State Bar: Florida State Bar admission is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing as a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney.
  • Trial experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful case settlements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Florida Personal Injury law and procedural rules.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume caseload effectively.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor legal staff.
  • Compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.
