A law firm in Elmsford is seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney with 5-10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be highly focused, organized, goal-oriented, and possess a proactive work ethic. This role involves independence in work, a strong understanding of mortgage foreclosure, bankruptcy, and eviction matters, and familiarity with in-state court proceedings.
Duties:
- Demonstrate a focused, organized, and goal-oriented approach to daily tasks.
- Utilize 5-10 years of litigation experience in legal proceedings.
- Preferably, have experience in mortgage foreclosure, bankruptcy, and/or eviction.
- Display familiarity with in-state court proceedings and relevant legal documentation.
- Work independently on legal cases, providing expertise and guidance.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with clients and vendors.
- Communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal formats.
- Maintain a strong attention to organization and detail in all aspects of legal work.
Requirements:
- Law degree from an accredited law school.
- Active and in good standing membership with the New York State Bar.
- 5-10 years of litigation experience.
- Preferably experience in mortgage foreclosure, bankruptcy, and/or eviction.
- Familiarity with in-state court proceedings.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to organization and detail.
Education:
Law degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
