The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience handling complex private equity, leveraged buyout mergers and acquisitions transactions, and general corporate matters. Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on complex private equity transactions, including leveraged buyouts, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase, joint venture, and financing agreements.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence for transactions, including legal research and analysis.
  • Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic business decisions.
  • Manage and coordinate with multiple parties, including clients, opposing counsel, and external advisors.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes.
  • Assist in mentoring and supervising junior associates and support staff.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in corporate law, specifically in private equity, leveraged buyouts, and M&A.
  • Extensive experience at a large law firm focusing on corporate transactions.
  • Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex transactions and provide strategic legal advice.
  • Strong client management skills and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from a top-tier law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in New York.
