A law firm seeks a driven and dedicated Associate Attorney to join its growing practice in Ocean, NJ. This is a full-time position with the potential for partnership within 3-5 years for the right candidate. The successful applicant will work on a range of residential and commercial real estate matters, including landlord-tenant proceedings, tax appeals, and collections. Duties

• Handle landlord-tenant proceedings, tax appeal hearings, and collections.
• Draft and negotiate leases, purchase agreements, and various real estate documents.
• Represent clients in court, prepare pleadings, and meet with clients.
• Assist clients with the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of multi-family, retail, office, and industrial properties.
• Conduct legal research and offer advice on real estate transactions.
• Collaborate with office staff and clients to deliver exceptional service and achieve positive outcomes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission and license to practice in New Jersey.
• 1-3 years of experience in real estate law.
• In-depth understanding of landlord-tenant law and real estate litigation.
• Strong legal writing and math skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.

Skills

• Expertise in real estate law, particularly in landlord-tenant litigation and transactional matters.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills for real estate contracts and agreements.
