Duties:

• Represent employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation defense cases.
• Conduct legal research, and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Handle depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Advise clients on legal strategies and case evaluations.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences.
• Negotiate settlements and appear before administrative boards or in court.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure case updates and legal guidance.

Requirements:

• Experience in workers' compensation defense law.
• Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
• Excellent litigation and trial skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a heavy caseload.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership with the California Bar Association.

Certifications:

• California Bar license required.
