Duties:
Handle all phases of litigation including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and court appearances
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documentation
Conduct legal research and analysis related to complex commercial and construction law issues
Participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Maintain organized case files and develop client relationships
Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on high-stakes litigation
Monitor legal developments relevant to clients and practice areas
Requirements:
3–10 years of litigation experience (construction law preferred)
Admission to the New York Bar
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of analytical and problem-solving abilities
Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Demonstrated interest in commercial and/or construction litigation
Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in New York State
Skills:
