Responsibilities: - Format, type, and proof complex legal documents using CompareRite or other redlining applications. - Manage internal and client deadlines. - Prepare and edit correspondence, minutes of meetings, and other legal documents from written, oral, and dictated sources. - Maintain and properly close and/or purge files; scan and file Firm and Client correspondence and legal documents into I-Manage. - Prepare new business records, engagement letters. - Input and edit attorney's time and review pre-bills. - Schedule meetings and make travel arrangements. - Answer telephone, distribute messages; set up conference calls; send and receive emails and faxes; resolve issues as needed; open, sort, and distribute mail. - Reconcile expense reimbursements; process check and petty cash requests. - Maintain attorney's calendars; schedule inside and outside meetings; reserve conference rooms; order food and/or refreshments. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of legal secretarial experience in Corporate. - Excellent proofreading, document formatting, and redlining skills required. - Must pay close attention to detail and be extremely organized. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - High degree of initiative and ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks. - Must be punctual and reliable. - Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. - Flexibility to work overtime. - Proficient in Microsoft Office 2016, including Excel, Outlook, and advanced knowledge of Word functions. - Familiarity with using an electronic document management system, such as I-Manage.
