This is a lateral position that requires a strong understanding of the principles and practices of law, as well as the ability to effectively handle a high volume court docket. Key Responsibilities: - Conducting legal research and drafting a variety of legal documents, including briefs, motions, and legal memoranda - Interviewing victims and witnesses to gather information and develop effective prosecution strategies - Coordinating with other City and State agencies to provide support and services to victims and witnesses - Performing related work as required Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the State of Maryland - Circuit Court Trial experience - Must pass a criminal background investigation Compensation: The starting salary for this position is $77,191+, commensurate with experience.
