Duties:

  • Consult with clients, providing legal guidance and strategic advice.
  • Engage in legal research and prepare briefs on complex legal issues.
  • Analyze and summarize contracts and legal documents.
  • Conduct discovery of electronically stored data and hard copies in preparation for litigation.
  • Advise clients on business transactions, claim liabilities, and other legal matters.
  • Represent clients in court or in front of government agencies.
  • Evaluate case findings and prepare arguments for case presentations.
  • Gather and analyze evidence to build cases or initiate legal actions.
  • Confer with colleagues specializing in specific legal areas to strengthen case strategies.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with clients.
  • Perform administrative and management functions as required.
  • Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of experience in relevant legal fields.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
  • Proven experience in handling a broad range of legal issues including litigation, business transactions, and regulatory matters.
  • Ability to provide expert legal advice and support to a variety of clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in California.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and research abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
