A law firm in Beverly Hills, CA, is seeking a Personal Injury Associate Attorney to work closely with Lead Attorneys in handling all aspects of personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a diverse caseload.

Job Duties:

• Assist Lead Attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation, including propounding and responding to discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, complaints, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Attend State and Federal court hearings as required, representing clients in various personal injury matters.
• Maintain a heavy caseload, ensuring cases progress in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
• Prepare for second-chair trials and assist in trial preparation.
• Represent clients in personal injury cases including auto accidents, slip & fall, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, premises liability, and insurance disputes.
• Investigate and prepare claim demands to insurance companies across multiple states.
• Negotiate and settle disputes with insurance companies.
• Prepare and file civil lawsuits on behalf of clients.
• Maintain good standing and possess a California State Bar license.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
• Experience in personal injury litigation is preferred.
• Excellent research, oral advocacy, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
