Job Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients on labor and employment law matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Negotiate and draft employment-related agreements, such as employment contracts, severance agreements, and non-compete agreements.
  • Conduct investigations into employment-related complaints and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Stay updated on developments in labor and employment law and communicate implications to clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Georgia Bar in good standing.
  • 5+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm or in-house legal setting, with a focus on labor and employment law preferred.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Georgia Bar.

Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations.
