Estate Planning Attorney The candidate will conduct client meetings to design and deliver estate plans. Maintain detailed notes of all meetings, phone calls & follow-ups. Draft & Review estate planning documents for clients (RLT, Will, HIPAA, HCP, POA, Living Will, ILIT, Irrevocable Trusts, etc.). Prepare trust funding recommendations & documents as needed. Manage client maintenance plans (AMP) and meetings. Manage client phone calls and/or e-mails. Work with estate planning team to maintain and meet client deadlines. Manage other projects as assigned. Should have 3+ years of legal experience in estate planning with proficiency in drafting documents. MA licensed attorney and in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar. Knowledge of income, fiduciary, gift and estate tax laws are needed. Should be well-organized & detail orientated. Should possess excellent follow-through skills to meet deadlines. Should have experience in drafting, creating & reviewing estate plans (wills, trusts, health care proxies, powers of attorney, etc.). Must be comfortable preparing the necessary documents to fund trusts and align clients’ assets with their estate plans. Should have experience with more advanced tax planning (SLATs, ILIT’s IDGTs, GRATs, etc.) and advising on lifetime gifting and charitable giving strategies. Must be comfortable meeting with clients to build lasting relationships.
