A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Senior Toxic Tort Associate Attorney with over 5 years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience. The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctor degree from a top law school and be licensed to practice law in California. This role encompasses taking and defending expert and witness depositions, drafting complex litigation documents, nurturing client relationships, and preparing for trial.

 

Duties:

  • Take and defend expert and witness depositions.
  • Draft original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters.
  • Draft discovery requests and responses for exchange with various parties.
  • Develop client relationships through effective oral and written communication.
  • Prepare for trial including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from a top law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in California.
  • 5+ years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience.
  • Experience working in a billable work environment.
  • Self-motivated individual with high energy, dedicated to meeting deadlines.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor degree from a top law school.

 

Certifications:

California Bar license.
