A law firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a skilled Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with extensive experience in handling employment disputes, investigations, and litigation matters. The ideal candidate will possess a California Bar license and a strong background in federal and state employment law.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations before governmental agencies such as the . Department of Labor, California Department of Industrial Relations, and EEOC.
  • Represent clients in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) concerning union organizing, collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, union elections, and arbitrations.
  • Handle employment litigation matters in federal and state courts, including wage and hour cases, collective and class actions.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents related to employment disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex employment law issues.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on employment law compliance and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
  • 5+ years of experience in employment litigation, including wage and hour defense and class actions.
  • Proven track record of appearing before the NLRB and handling investigations with various governmental agencies.
  • Strong understanding of federal and California employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience with employment law investigations and proceedings before administrative agencies.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing litigation support.
