Job Overview: A law firm in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Mid-Level Private Equity Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies in complex transactions. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focusing on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and general corporate matters.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, and third parties.
• Produce high-quality work products, answer inquiries promptly, and respond to correspondence efficiently.
• Meet deadlines and perform duties as required promptly and accurately.
• Build and maintain positive relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.
• Adhere to firm policies and practices, ensuring compliance at all times.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including computer work, digital/virtual meetings, and conferences.
• Undertake additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 3 years of experience advising on private equity transactions, preferably in an AmLaw 100 firm or with SEC experience.
• Admitted to practice law in Maryland.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Sound business judgment and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient research and problem-solving capabilities.
• Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others.
• Demonstrated management and persuasive communication skills.
