A law firm in Irvine is seeking an Insurance Attorney with 3-4 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of insurance coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies, along with excellent academic credentials and superior research and writing ability.

Duties:

• Analyze insurance coverage issues under various policies including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.
• Conduct legal research on insurance laws, regulations, and precedents.
• Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to insurance coverage disputes.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on insurance matters.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes and commercial litigation proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Stay updated on developments in insurance law and industry trends.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Superior research and writing ability.
• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.
• Experience in professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.
