A law firm in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Patent Attorney. The attorney will provide legal counsel and patent prosecution services to clients in the biotechnology, chemistry, and pharmaceutical technology sectors.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct patent prosecution for clients in biotechnology, chemistry, and pharmaceutical technologies
  • Provide legal advice on patent matters, including patentability assessments and infringement analysis
  • Draft patent applications, responses to office actions, and other legal documents
  • Conduct patent searches and prior art analysis
  • Communicate with clients, patent examiners, and other stakeholders
  • Manage patent portfolios and provide strategic guidance to clients

 

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background and education in biotechnology, chemistry, or pharmaceutical technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills
  • Strong academic and professional credentials
  • Registration to practice with the . Patent and Trademark Office
  • . from an ABA-Accredited Law School
  • Active attorney license in at least one . jurisdiction
  • Ability to promptly become licensed in IA, MN, ND, or WI
