Job Title: Litigation Attorney
Job Overview: A well-established law firm in Aliso Viejo, CA is seeking a litigation attorney with at least 1 year of experience. Duties:
- Manage and oversee a personal caseload, handling all aspects of litigation from start to finish
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Participate in pre-trial and trial proceedings, including court appearances
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff on case strategy
- Maintain client communications to keep them informed about case progress
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Initiative to work independently and collaboratively as needed
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Must hold an active and valid Bar license in the state of California
