A law firm in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced and motivated Mid-to-Senior level Corporate Healthcare Transactional Associate Attorney. The candidate will have the opportunity to advise some of the most dynamic and innovative healthcare clients in the country on all phases of their transactional businesses, primarily focusing on strategic transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, asset and equity acquisition transactions, venture capital and private equity investments, and joint venture transactions.

 

Duties:

  • Advise healthcare clients on strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, asset and equity acquisition transactions, venture capital and private equity investments, and joint venture transactions.
  • Assist clients with corporate and organizational workflow, including formations, capital raises, operational strategy, and contract negotiations.
  • Manage day-to-day corporate matters for healthcare clients.
  • Conduct legal research and provide thorough analysis on various transactional matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents related to corporate healthcare transactions.
  • Take ownership of projects and manage them from inception to completion.
  • Work effectively as a member of a team, collaborating with colleagues and clients.
  • Communicate directly and regularly with clients and third-party advisors.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the Bar in the state of Texas.
  • 4-6 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions and/or private equity in healthcare.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.
  • Excellent oral communication, writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong ability to communicate directly with clients and third-party advisors.

 

Skills:

  • Expertise in corporate healthcare transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and private equity.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analytical abilities.
  • Strong drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills for legal documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to client service with the ability to anticipate client needs.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for admission without examination.
