Job Overview: A law firm in Bellevue, WA, is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in litigation and transactional work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background representing small, medium, and large businesses and high-wealth individuals. Experience in state and federal courts, particularly in California or with judicial clerkship experience, is highly desired.

Job Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation and transactional matters, including but not limited to business disputes, contract negotiations, and corporate transactions.
• Conducted legal research, drafted legal documents, and provided strategic legal advice to clients.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
• Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex legal issues.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in a law firm setting.
• Strong litigation and transactional experience with a focus on business law.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Judicial clerkship experience in state or federal courts.
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
• Familiarity with Bellevue, WA, and surrounding legal jurisdictions.
