Duties:

• Manage pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through settlement.
• Conduct initial case reviews, gather evidence, and maintain client communication throughout the process.
• Develop legal strategies tailored to each client’s specific circumstances.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement demands.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure thorough case management.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies or other parties involved.
• Keep clients informed and advised on the progress of their cases.
• Prepare and present cases for mediation or trial if necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience handling personal injury pre-litigation cases.
• Strong understanding of personal injury laws and procedures.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
