A law firm seeks a highly qualified Mid-/Senior-level Associate Attorney to join its Private Equity Group in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience in corporate and transactional matters, contributing to a dynamic team committed to excellence in legal services.

Duties:

  • Manage and execute components of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity, and venture capital transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive legal support.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to private equity transactions.
  • Provide proactive legal advice to clients, ensuring compliance and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in private equity or corporate law.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong business acumen and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
